Starting Thursday, June 6, a limited number of season tickets for the Charlotte 49ers inaugural football season will go on sale.
"We’re excited to make these season ticket packages available," said Judy Rose, director of athletics. "This allows more fans in the community to experience the inaugural 2013 Charlotte 49ers football season and to be a part of all the excitement that surrounds the program." The first game is set for Saturday, Aug. 31, against Campbell University.
The season-ticket packages will be located in Sections 113, 114 and 131, which are outside of the reserved FSL seating sections. These season tickets will not come with the ownership rights and benefits of FSL purchases and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
"With the goal of 5,000 FSLs nearly complete, we must now move towards selling any and all additional available seats," Rose added. "It is crucial that we sell all available seats as we make our move from an FCS independent to an FBS member of Conference USA."
