IT master plan consultants prepare assessment report

Wednesday, June 5, 2013

The IT consulting firm BerryDunn has written the report “Assessment of Current IT Services” as part of the first phase of helping the University develop a five-year IT master plan.

The report, which is available on the Web, is the result of interviews with more than 200 students, faculty/staff members and other institutional stakeholders and questionnaire feedback from colleges and 30 departments across campus. BerryDunn began its consulting work earlier this year.

To review the “Assessment of Current IT Services,” faculty, staff and students will have to log in and use their NinerNet credentials. After reviewing the report, individuals can provide comments using the “Contact Us” link.

BerryDunn, the independent management/IT consulting firm, is working with the IT master plan project steering committee to finalize a “Benchmarking and Peer Institution” report that will provide information about IT services and practices at four peer institutions.
