Indie folk rock group the Wilhelm Brothers will perform at noon, Wednesday, June 19, in the Student Union as part of the ROCKIN’ the Rotunda summer concert series.
The Wilhelm Brothers, an Asheville-based group, features singer/songwriter Chris Wilhelm and cellist Cristof Ensslin. According to the artists, their sound emphasizes the “love of a good story delivered in song and employs folk, roots and indie influences.”
James Contratto, assistant director for student activities, noted the ROCKIN’ the Rotunda series offered students, faculty and staff the chance to hang out, relax and eat lunch while enjoying live music.
The Campus Activities Board is sponsoring this summer music series, which will feature the Square Roots Duo in a future performance.
