The second quarter edition of the 2013 UNC Charlotte magazine was published recently, and it features a cover story on Big Data that references the University’s efforts to help Charlotte become a leader in data science and business analytics.
This edition also includes a profile on professor emeritus Loy Witherspoon and a feature article on UNC Charlotte’s waste reduction and recycling efforts. Additional stories focus on life as a graduate student and about the work of a student muralist as well as news briefs about achievements by UNC Charlotte faculty, staff and students.
