In the two-day workshop “Grow Your Own Fall Veggies,” participants will discover where to start and what to choose for planting in the “cool” season.
Mae Lin Plummer will be the instructor for this workshop, being offered by the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens.
Three hours of classroom instruction from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, July 26, will cover important basic necessities and growing requirements. Then, from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, July 27, attendees will receive hands-on instruction on seed starting and transplanting.
