The UNC Charlotte Staff Council, on behalf of the UNC Staff Assembly, is seeking nominees for the fourth annual Erskine Bowles Staff Service Award.

This honor is presented to a permanent, full-time staff member who has shown exemplary understanding, empathy and devotion to mankind and whose accomplishments are consistent with the goals exemplified by Bowles during his tenure as UNC president and in accordance with the University's public service mission.

To nominate a colleague, employees should submit the individual’s name, department, job title, years of employment at UNC Charlotte and a summary of how he/she qualifies for the honor via email to their Staff Council representative. Nominations are due Friday, Aug. 16.

The UNC Charlotte Staff Council will review the recommendations and determine one person to serve as the University’s nominee.
