It is history in the making as UNC Charlotte takes the field Saturday, Aug. 31, for the 49ers first football game. While the home opener is a sellout, faculty, staff and students can experience the campus excitement with viewings in the Student Union Movie Theatre and Norm's. The game will be carried live on WCCB, too.
The Office of University Communications will produce a live pre-game webcast starting at 9 a.m. Saturday. Fans can follow the game on Facebook and Twitter, too (#CharlotteKickoff13).
