The Human Resources Department has announced the Staff Recognition Luncheon, traditionally held in the fall, will move to Monday, March 31, and the breakfast to honor early morning/night shift staff will be Tuesday, April 1.
According to Rebecca Evans, staff award and recognition coordinator, the change will help make recognition part of the University’s culture throughout the year and will improve the nomination process for the Employee of the Year Award.
“Employees can expect to see several of the tournaments and celebrations from past years, as well as some new events, which will be announced in the near future,” said Evans.
The Chancellor’s Reception will be Thursday, Oct. 17. Information about staff recognition events is on the Web.
