UNC Charlotte to host health informatics career/internship fair

UNC Charlotte will  host the 2013 Health Informatics Career and Internship Fair, which is part of a statewide collaboration between universities in North Carolina including Duke, ECU, NCCU, UNC Chapel Hill and UNC Charlotte.  The fair will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 11, at UNC Charlotte’s Center City.  

Students and professionals will have the chance to learn about careers in health informatics and related fields and to discover the latest research trends and developments in these fields. This inter-institutional and interdisciplinary collaboration will draw recruiters from the Charlotte region and across the state who are looking for new and experienced talent in the following areas: biomedical informatics, bioinformatics, biostatistics, clinical informatics, clinical information science, clinical laboratory science, public health informatics, health informatics, health policy and management, public health leadership and radiologic science.
