Africana studies chair to speak in Davidson

Akin Ogundiran, chair of the Africana Studies Department, will present the free, public lecture “Brass, Glass, Terracotta: Crafts of Power and Authority in Classical Yoruba Civilization” at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Belk Visual Arts Center, Room 117, in Davidson.

The talk, sponsored by Davidson College, is part of the Archaeological Institute of America Central Carolinas Society lecture series.
