UNC Charlotte cosponsoring upcoming state nursing convention
The 108th North Carolina Nurses Association Convention is set for Wednesday, Sept. 30, through Friday, Oct. 2, in Concord, and the UNC Charlotte School of Nursing and Office of Distance Education are platinum cosponsors of the exhibit hall and mobile app for attendees at this year’s event.
Sponsorship will help UNC Charlotte’s nursing programs stand out in the crowd and attract potential students.
“We believe we have great nursing programs to offer North Carolina nurses,” said Steven Carter, senior program manager for distance education. “Whether they come to campus and study full-time to earn an advanced practice degree or they continue in their jobs and expand their skills through part-time online study, we want nurses in North Carolina to know that UNC Charlotte can provide what they need educationally. No one can miss this as we showcase our programs and reconnect with our amazing alumni. In other words, we are painting, this year’s convention 49er green.”
