Career Center to hold annual Education Fair

The University’s annual Education Career Fair, scheduled for Friday, April 8, will offer education students, alumni and the public an opportunity to connect with schools/school districts and other education-related organizations.

The fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center; it will bring representatives from more than 80 schools/school districts to campus.

In addition to many North Carolina school districts, the event will attract recruiters from Texas, Arizona, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina. Organizations seek teaching candidates in all areas, school counselors, school social workers and school administrators.

There is no cost for job seekers to attend this event, and registration is not required. Prospective and current teachers, as well as students and alumni from any major who wish to explore a career in education, are encouraged to attend.
