On Tuesday, Dec. 5, the Division of Research hosted UNC Charlotte’s annual Research and Business Partners Celebration, an event that acknowledges the collaborative innovation that occurs through the convergence of University and corporate expertise and resources.

Virtually every graduate has a story highlighting how UNC Charlotte has transformed their lives. Here’s a collection of 16, curated by the Office of University Communications as Charlotte celebrates Fall Commencement.

UNC Charlotte again is on Princeton Review’s Guide to Green Colleges, an annual publication that recognizes academic institutions' sustainability-related policies, practices and programs. UNC Charlotte is one of 522 colleges included in the 2024 edition.

Movement Migration, the dance company founded by Associate Professor of Dance Kim Jones, received two grants from the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. The two grants, more than $20,000 combined, support both project-based work and company operations.
