UNC Charlotte’s Master of Education in Learning, Design and Technology (LDT) ranked 10th in the nation in U.S. News and World Report’s Educational/Instructional Media Design category. The online M.Ed. program in the Cato College of Education, as well as its companion online graduate certificate and blended Ed.D. programs, offers concentrations in training and development, online teaching and learning and school specialist roles.
Led by award-winning faculty members who build their courses with students’ needs in mind, the LDT program has achieved Quality Matters program level certification for both program design and learner success. Considered the “gold standard” in online education, Quality Matters (QM) is a nationally recognized, faculty-driven, peer-review process used to ensure the quality of online and blended course design.
“Our nationally ranked Learning, Design and Technology program offers degrees and certificates that allow students to align their academic pursuits to their professional objectives,” said Beth Oyarzun, program director and lead faculty member. “The courses are highly collaborative and project based so students can gain practical instructional design skills and real-world experience.”
