Earlier this month, the UNC Charlotte Staff Council held its annual Chili, Soup and Cornbread Cook-off.
First place winner for Best Chili or Soup was Shayauna Newsom, Office of Transition and Success Initiatives. Sharon Scarborough, urbanCore, and Rusti Deal, facilities management, placed second and third, respectively
Scarborough won the Best Cornbread contest, with Dannie Mirovich, PaTS in second.
Fan favorite winners were:
- Best Decor: Rusti Deal
- Best Chili: Sharon Scarborough
- Best Cornbread: Dannie Mirovich
