UNC Charlotte Chancellor Sharon L. Gaber and several University alumni and board members have been named to the 2024 Business North Carolina Power List.
Gaber was recognized for the fourth consecutive year in the education category. The publication noted Gaber’s push to expand research and Charlotte’s projection to receive Carnegie R1, or top-tier, research classification in early 2025.

In-state tuition remains flat for 8th consecutive year for in-state undergraduates

UNC Charlotte’s tuition will remain unchanged for resident undergraduate students for the eighth consecutive year. Additionally, fees have been adjusted to result in an overall net decrease of $5 for all students. The UNC Board of Governors approved the tuition and fee schedule Thursday, Feb. 29.

Joyce Davis Waddell Center for Student Health and Wellbeing named

In recognition of Sen. Joyce Waddell’s personal generosity in support of student health and wellness, UNC Charlotte has renamed its Student Health Center in honor of the 1973 alumna.
