Some campus telephones experiencing outages
OneIT has received numerous reports that on-campus Cisco phones are not receiving off-campus calls. This includes calls from the cell phones of on-campus students and employees.
Only phones that have not yet been converted to Zoom phones are affected.
Police and Public Safety dispatch, Niner Central and the OneIT Service Desk are unaffected and receiving calls normally.
OneIT has escalated the problem with the provider, Windstream, and is awaiting resolution.
An additional update will be provided in Niner Insider as information becomes available or when the problem is resolved.
