FACULTY & STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • On Sunday, standout women’s basketball player Dazia Lawrence scored her 1,000th career point during the 49ers' double overtime victory, 88-81, over Temple.
  • Save the date! The second AI Institute for Smarter Learning will be held Wednesday, May 15. The call for proposals is open through Friday, March 8.
  • Register for “Science across Borders,” scheduled for 6:30 p.m., tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 7, at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City, presented by Damien Williams, assistant professor of data science. The lecture is part of the 2024 Great Decisions lecture series.
  • Attend a Zoom informational session at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 12, to learn more about the Division of Research's Core Facilities Program.
  • Nominate globally engaged students, faculty and staff who work for gender equity to be recognized at UNC Charlotte’s International Women’s Day celebration Wednesday, March 20. The nomination deadline is Friday, Feb 29.
  • The Graduate School and the Graduate Admissions office in the Reese Building, Fifth Floor, is temporarily closed to allow contractors to complete some needed work in the space safely. We will reopen our doors as soon as possible, but operations will continue remotely.
