Five Students Won Spring Tuition Through Niner Career Challenge

Five UNC Charlotte students received funding to cover their spring 2025 tuition as winners of the University Career Center’s fourth annual Niner Career Challenge. Congratulations to Grace Asaad, India Clark, Ranaroath Mey, Abhilash Pusapally and Madison Silver.

  • Academic Affairs Weekly News Digest: Faculty reviewers are needed to participate in rating student work as part of the general education continuous learning process. Learn about the application process, along with other important updates, in this week’s news digest.
  • Truman Finalist: Annabelle Hill, a Levine Scholar and member of the Honors College, is a finalist for the prestigious Truman Scholarship.
  • 49er Mart Upgrade: 49er Mart has been upgraded, including updates to eProcurement, supplier management and more. Visit the 49er Mart message board to learn about these changes and register for the virtual forum from 2 to 4 p.m., Thursday, March 27.
  • Programs with Minors Update: Effective Friday, April 25, all University-sponsored programs and events involving minors will begin utilizing Teamworks, a new software, for program enrollment and administration. As a reminder, all programs involving minors must be reported to the Office of Risk Management and Insurance at least two weeks in advance of the program’s start date.   • Centralized Resource: As higher education faces changes, UNC Charlotte has established a centralized resource for the campus community to track updates and information on policies, laws and guidance affecting colleges and universities.
  • Doosan Bobcat STEM Scholarships: Eligible students are encouraged to apply for a Doosan Bobcat STEM Scholarship by submitting an application, resume and letter of recommendation via the scholarship portal by Tuesday, April 1. Twenty tuition scholarships of $3,000 will be awarded to full-time undergraduate students.
  • Apply for Niner Guides: Want to share your love of Charlotte with prospective students and families? Niner Guides applications are open through midnight, Sunday, March 30.
  • Fall OUR Applications: Research looks great on your resume. The Office of Undergraduate Research is now accepting applications for the fall 2025 semester.
  • Student Activity Fees Commission Applications: Apply to be a member of the Student Activity Fees Commission to help oversee more than $2 million in student activity fees, approve funding for student organizations and more. Applications are open until Monday, March 24.
