Then we have the venue for you – Charlotte Kids Fest.A collaboration between UNC Charlotte and University City Partners, Charlotte Kids Fest is a free outdoor festival that encourages kids ages 4-10 to CREATE! DANCE! DISCOVER! LEARN! PLAY! and GO! through hands-on activities that stimulate their minds while having fun.The festival, the only one of its kind and scale in the Charlotte region, will take place at UNC Charlotte from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 9.

Help meet Niner University’s remote learning needs
Niner University Elementary (NUE), UNC Charlotte’s first lab school, started the 2020-21 school year with remote learning on Aug. 17 for its 96 K-2 students.”Opening NUE has been a labor of love, years in the making,” said Pamela Broome, principal of NUE. “Though this is not how we envisioned opening NUE, we are off to a great start and are thrilled to begin our journey as part of this community.”
