Can you describe your role at UNC Charlotte?

We are responsible for paying faculty, staff and student employees and for submitting payments for retirement, health benefits, payroll taxes and a variety of other payroll deductions. Another responsibility includes printing W-2s, 1099s and 1042s.

UNC Charlotte’s University Career Center celebrated a ribbon-cutting for the center’s new Career & Collaboration Hub Friday, Aug. 25. 

Created together with Truist Financial Corporation, one of the largest  financial institutions in the country, the hub is a place where success, engagement and purpose align to support UNC Charlotte students with resume development tools, interview preparation, sponsored career events and networking opportunities for employment or internships.

University Ombuds Adds Graduate Students; Publishes Annual Report

After six years of service as the graduate student ombuds, Bruce Taylor has stepped down from that role. Graduate students, including master’s, doctorate and postdoctoral fellows, will now receive services from the University Ombuds, Scott Deyo, who also serves faculty and staff.
